In order to start using your domain name with your hosting account at 1 Stop Sites, you must point your domain to our name servers.

We will be happy to complete this process for you if you supply your registrar account access information. If you do not have this information, we can assist you with the transfer through other approval methods.

In order to edit your DNS and point your domain name to 1 Stop Sites, you will need to visit the site at which you originally registered your domain name.

If you do not know which registry your domain name was registered with, just look up your domain name here to see which company is listed in the "Registrar" section.

At your domain registrar's site, you will need to login to their system using the username and password they assigned you. Once you login, you will need to find the link that allows you to change your nameserver information. In that section, please update your nameserver information to the following:

Verify that the server information matches the following ip addresses:

Primary: ns1.1stopsiteshosting.com - 69.72.143.148
Secondary: ns2.1stopsiteshosting.com - 69.72.143.149

Once your modifications have been submitted, it will take 24-48 hours before your new information will be visible on the Internet. This 24-48 hour delay is due to zone file propagation.

The zone files, which update the Internet, are not transferred instantaneously. They take at least 24 hours to upload to the Main Root Servers which, in turn, spread information throughout the Internet. This can create delays of up to 48 hours before changes are visible in our WHOIS database.

Ideally, your site should be uploaded and your email accounts set up before transferring your domain. This will minimize any potential site outages during propagation.

If you have a current hosting account, please do not cancel it until 1 week after your domain transfer has taken place in order to make certain that your domain has completely propagated worldwide.
